Adapted from [22], with addition of missing longitudinal muscles in the original figure, however, mentioned in the article. The musculature of Neodasys cirritus is modified from [59], and the phylogeny follows the results of the present study (Fig. 1). Possibly homologous muscles are illustrated with similar colors with the dorso-ventral muscles in blue, somatic longitudinal muscles in green, and splanchnic longitudinal muscles in red.
