Dot plot for macrosynteny of rho region

For Japanese eel scaffold 3, and Asian arowana scaffolds 133 and 11, the positions of genes matched to those in spotted gar’s LG5 region (20–29 Mb) are plotted. Each of the dots is the midpoint of predicted start and end positions of gene, and the size indicates the degree of amino acid identity (%) to the ortholog in spotted gar; in the same transcriptional direction (closed dot) or opposite direction (open dot). The rhodopsin gene is colored in red and the position in spotted gar’s LG5 is shown in dashed line.
